What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll be leading a team of service technicians, ensuring smooth project execution, from installations and commissioning to maintenance and troubleshooting. You'll oversee service operations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and be the primary liaison for clients, offering expert advice and solutions. Your role includes mentoring and training technicians, developing the Boiler Management System into a key revenue driver, and contributing to the company's sales objectives through technical sales support and service contract offerings. Your leadership will ensure efficient service delivery and enhance the organisation's reputation in the industry.
Where you'll be doing it Our client is a leader in industrial combustion technology, providing cutting-edge burner and boiler solutions to a range of industries. What you'll need You'll need a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, along with a Gas Practitioner License. A solid background of 8-10 years in the industrial or engineering environment, particularly in burner and boiler installation, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of commissioning, and the ability to issue COC's are key. Leadership experience in managing service teams is crucial, as well as proficiency in MS Office and an understanding of electrical systems (ELC1 & ELC2). Experience with Accpac or Xero is advantageous.
