You're a hands-on Field Service Technician with strong fault-finding skills and a passion for solving technical problems. You take pride in delivering high-quality service, understand the importance of accurate documentation and inventory management, and have a customer-first mindset. You're motivated, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
You'll travel extensively to customer sites within the Gauteng region, diagnosing and solving technical issues. Your tasks will include repairs, installations, remote troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on food processing, inspection systems and industrial scales. You'll also set up and support network-connected devices, manage service vehicle inventory, and document all service work. In addition, you'll play an active role in selling service products and may work in challenging environments like freezer rooms, so flexibility and resilience are key.
When not travelling (around 75% of the time), you'll be based at the company's offices in Lanseria, Johannesburg. A qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is essential, with NRCS verification officer/repairer certification considered a strong advantage. You must have experience with PC-based devices, food processing, labelling and inspection systems and equipment, plus solid skills in network configuration and mechanical systems. A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel extensively is required, along with a strong commitment to customer service and flexibility in working conditions.
You will receive a market related salary including traveling allowance, company vehicle, cellphone allowance, laptop, medical aid and pension contribution.
