A market-leading global logistics organization is seeking experienced Field Sales Executives to join their Johannesburg & Durban sales team. These are pure "hunter" roles within a high-performance sales culture, focused on winning new business across Air and Ocean Freight.

As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business across Air and Ocean Freight modes. You will target medium-to-large business customers and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant tertiary qualification, preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales
- Proven track record in Air Freight and Ocean Freight sales
- Strong "hunter" mentality with verifiable new business acquisition results
- Based in Johannesburg or willing to travel extensively within the region
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, iSell, or similar)
Additional Valued Experience:
- Background in Mining, Technical, or Industrial logistics
- Experience selling multi-modal solutions (Air, Ocean, Road, Customs)
- Existing relationships with mid-to-large sized importers/exporters
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively hunt for new business opportunities within the Johannesburg market
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline (target: EUR 4 million in active opportunities)
- Conduct a minimum of 36 sales calls per month (70% new business focus)
- Present tailored logistics solutions to prospective clients
- Negotiate contractual terms aligned with corporate sales policy
- Utilize CRM tools to track activities, quotes, and pipeline health
