Our Client is looking for a  Field Guide to join their team
Area: Greater Vaalwater Area, Limpopo, South Africa

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide to join our team at a privately owned lodge in the Greater Vaalwater area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified guide who loves nature, wildlife, and engaging with guests in a remote, scenic bushveld environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting guided game drives and bush walks
• Educating guests on flora, fauna, and conservation
• Ensuring guest safety and comfort at all times
• Assisting with guest activities and lodge hosting as needed
• Reporting sightings and maintaining guiding records
• Ensuring vehicles and guiding equipment are clean and well-maintained

Minimum Requirements:

• FGASA Level 1 (minimum) – Higher levels a plus
• Valid SASSETA firearm competency (for guiding)
• Valid PDP and Driver’s License
• First Aid Level 1
• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong passion for nature, conservation, and guest interaction

• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to assist across departments when required
