FBO Service Agent - Aviation

About the position

A Fixed Base Operator (FBO) based at OR Tambo airport is looking to employ a Service Agent.
They are looking for a young, dynamic, professional and articultate individual.
A degree / Diploma in logistics, planning or operations management will be advantageous
with 1 - 2 years operational expereince.
Aviation operational experience would be advantageous or from a similar environment like logistics. They would also consider a recent graduate.

The position of FBO Service Agent involves the planning, directing, and coordinating of end-to- end activities of the FBO.

Tasks:

• Receive, action, and execute all visiting, owners', or tenant aircraft handling requirements
• Responsible for the quality of service to customers
• Execute day-to-day requests / instructions issued by the FBO Operations Manager
• Ensure the FBO Operations Department operates in line with other departments on movement requests
• Draft and submit quotes to potential / current customers
• Ensure detailed / updated data is recorded for operational and statistical purposes
• Liaise with customers telephonically, face to face and in writing
• Ensure customers make payment and ensure that all payments are captured in line with pre- agreed terms offered to customers by the company
• Ensure completed handling back up documentation is filed correctly and timeosly
• Assist the FBO Operations Manager as and when required; and
• Assist with ADHOC tasks and duties as and when required
