DBN000067 – JUNIOR FARM MANAGER (MACADAMIA) - (South Coast, KZN)
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a young and dynamic Assistant Farm Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to start their career in agriculture.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Agriculture or related field preferred
Technical Competencies & Experience:
- 1-2 years Farm experience preferred
- Proficiency in Zulu is essential for effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the macadamia farming operations.
- Support the Farm Manager in overseeing planting, harvesting, and general maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all farming protocols and standards.
- Liaise with farm workers and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor and report on farm activities and progress.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Eager to learn and develop skills in macadamia farming.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive and willing to take initiative.
