About the position

DBN000067 – JUNIOR FARM MANAGER (MACADAMIA) - (South Coast, KZN)

Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a young and dynamic Assistant Farm Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to start their career in agriculture.
 
Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Agriculture or related field preferred

 
Technical Competencies & Experience:

  • 1-2 years Farm experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Zulu is essential for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the macadamia farming operations.
  • Support the Farm Manager in overseeing planting, harvesting, and general maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all farming protocols and standards.
  • Liaise with farm workers and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor and report on farm activities and progress.

 
Behavioural Competencies:

  • Eager to learn and develop skills in macadamia farming.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative.
