Our client invites applications from candidates with previous experience in Crop care and the crop estimation process and continuous update info as estimation changes.
Willing to live in Addo, with at least over 3 years of farm management experience with the citrus industry. Must be innovative, detail-orientated, and capable of managing multiple and high-priority tasks. Provide effective staff supervision and manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines. Computer literate and HSE savvy for the HSE responsibilities.

Key Job Activities:

• Responsible for the crop estimation process: liaise with farm managers to obtain all information, consolidate information and link with Supply Chain to convey information for planning purposes. Continuously update information as estimation changes.
• Responsible to implement & manage the following farming activities: Fertilizer program, Spray program, Prune program, New planting when necessary and Harvesting plan - it is important that the Farm Manager plays a strong leadership role to ensure that harvesting is happening as required.
• Ensure day-to-day farm activities and stay within the approved budget.
• Responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Build and maintain relationship with support departments and employees.
