About the position
Our client, a leader within the Healthcare sector is seeking a experienced Factory Storeman to join their Factory Department within the Pretoria Warehouse operations, responsible for managing raw material stock and finished manufactured stock
Responsible for managing stock movements within the Raw Material Storage area, including the issuing of raw materials to the factory, receiving finished goods from production, and ensuring the accurate handling and recording of inventory transactions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound inventory control knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years’ warehousing experience within a structured warehouse or distribution environment.
- Valid Forklift and/or Stacker License with practical driving experience.
- Valid South African Driver’s License with proven driving experience.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as practical experience working with Stock Management systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal capability.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards within the warehouse environment.
- Must take pride in the appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance of the warehouse, company vehicles, and operational machinery.
