About the position

Education: National Diploma or N5/N6 Certificate in Multi-Disciplinary Drawing, Architectural Drafting, Wood Technology, Joinery Fabrication, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 3–5 years in a Setter Out, Production Drafter, or CNC Programmer role within joinery, shopfitting, or timber furniture manufacturing
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Optiplan cutting optimisation software
- Competency in CAD/CAM platforms (AutoCAD, SketchUp, B-Solid, BSA)
- Strong knowledge of timber substrates, edging, and joinery details
- Practical understanding of machine shop work-study principles and stock control
