About the position
The hiring company is a leading packaging manufacturer based in Amman, Jordan (Middle East). They are looking for a Factory Manager to join their team. Individuals who apply must come from the packaging industry, specifically folding cartons. Expats are welcome to apply. The hiring company will pay for flights and visas.
To oversee all aspects of the folding carton packaging manufacturing process.
Maintain a high level of Customer Service and Quality.

Ensure the effective utilization of manufacturing assets
Ensure effective and efficient utilization of ERP and MES systems
Managing Production and Demand schedules
Implementing Continuous Improvement and Lean systems and processes
Ensuring compliance with Safety and Quality standards
Execution of facilities and equipment maintenance and repairs
Manage Raw Materials and Consumables inventory and lead times
Lead, Mentor and develop subordinates and teams to create a high-performance culture
Strong knowledge of folding carton packaging is crucial
Understanding of paper, inks, chemicals, and equipment operation
Leadership and people management
Strong Systems and process management ability
Provide technical advice to improve quality and effectiveness
Ability to communicate fluently in English
Qualifications & Experience Required
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Management and Leadership Diploma or Degree
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
Minimum of 7-10yrs experience in production or operations management
Minimum 5yrs packaging manufacturing, offset and folding carton experience is essential
Minimum 5yrs Lean / TPM / Six Sigma implementation / execution
