About the Role:
As our Production/Factory Manager, you will be the driving force behind our manufacturing process, ensuring the seamless production of high-quality home textile products, primarily curtains. You'll oversee all aspects of production, leveraging your expertise in various textile machinery and processes.
What You'll Do:
- End-to-End Production Management: Take full ownership of the entire production cycle, from raw materials to finished goods.
- Machinery Mastery: Oversee and manage diverse home textile machinery, including knitting, weaving, dyeing, finishing, and embroidery equipment.
- Technical Leadership: Utilize your electrical and mechanical technical expertise to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production lines.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain efficient production processes to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Team Leadership: Guide and motivate your production team to achieve output targets and maintain high standards.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve production challenges to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven Production Management Experience: A strong track record in a similar production or factory management role.
- Textile Sector Familiarity: Ideally, someone with hands-on experience in the textile industry, specifically with home textile machinery.
- Technical Acumen: Solid technical understanding in both electrical and mechanical systems relevant to manufacturing equipment.
- Process Driven: Ability to manage complex production processes efficiently and effectively.
- Strong Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Problem Solver: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
Salary: R15,000 - R20,000 per month, depending on your experience.
