About the position
Our client in the Healthcare sector is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Machine Minder to join their Factory Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and consistent operation of manufacturing equipment utilized in the production of steam sterilizers, pressure vessels, and stainless steel CSSD products and also ensure that machinery is correctly set up, monitored, and maintained throughout the production process to achieve optimal operational performance and minimize downtime.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Previous experience within stainless steel fabrication, pressure vessel manufacturing, or related industries will be preferred.
- Methodical and detail-oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, work independently when required, and contribute positively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and professionally with management, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Effective conflict management skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Demonstrated pride in maintaining the appearance, standards, and operational condition of the Pretoria facility and equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
