About the position

As an F&I Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting operations by engaging with commercial truck dealerships, suppliers, and customers to drive business growth and finalize deals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Dealership and Customer Visits
Build new networks and maintain positive relationships with commercial trucks suppliers and customers.
Maintain current knowledge and learn more about finance and lease products on offer, as well as the products in the commercial truck industry.
Offer prompt customer service by staying abreast of developments in the industry.
Client Communication
Reach out to clients via email or phone after receiving their contact information.
Send an initial email outlining the required documents for their application.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients to follow up on outstanding documents or additional information.
Document Management and Analysis
Review and analyse client-provided documents, including bank statements and other necessary paperwork, to ensure they meet the minimum criteria.
Identify any missing or incomplete documentation and communicate with clients to obtain the required information.
Save, organize, and rename all documents in the correct folders following internal naming conventions.
Application Submission and Tracking
Submit complete application packages to relevant funders.
Track the status of submitted applications using Excel sheets, ensuring accurate updates on status.
Follow-ups and Status Updates
Regularly update clients on their application's progress and current status.
Follow up with funders for feedback or updates, particularly if feedback is delayed.
Respond to funders on behalf of clients regarding offers, requests for additional information, or application updates.
Coordination of Application Finalization
Inform clients of funder feedback and offers and relay the client’s acceptance or response to funders.
Administrative Tasks
Use Excel spreadsheets to keep detailed records of applications, document requirements, and client statuses.
Ensure proper organization and filing of all client-related documentation.
Maintain meticulous administrative processes to support efficient workflow and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial truck dealership setting.
A related degree/diploma would be beneficial.
Own transport.
Excellent communication skills, and fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Organized with attention to details.
Professional.
The basic salary bracket for the role is around R20k - R25k CTC p/m. Added benefits are a car allowance and commission.
