About the position
We are recruiting an External Sales Representative (Business Development) to join the Rosslyn (Pretoria Far-North) site of a multi-national manufacturing client. The successful incumbent will be responsible for growing and managing the portfolio of accessories and new products in the building, construction, plumbing, automotive, sound insulation and mining sector. Matric
3+ years external sales experience in construction / automotive / manufacturing / technical environment.
Driver's license and vehicle
Investigate and quality quoting opportunities for range of automotive aftermarket, glass and alinimum seals, sound proofing and sound insulation and accessors for aftermarket.
Host and conduct training presentations and webinars to relevant buyers and contractors / professional teams (Engineers/QS/Architects etc).
Build and maintain central file of customer contracts.
Monitor payments of invoices/accounts.
Stay up to date on customer affairs.
Ensure that price updates are communicated to customers.
Report to Sales Manager on meetings and key activities - target vs actual; new projects; RFQs of interest; market conditions etc.
R20 000 to R30 000 per month + commission on new products, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current/previous salary
