About the position

A company based in Randburg is seeking an External Sales Representative (Sales Engineer) to join their expanding team.
   Minimum Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ external sales experience in a technical/engineering environment
  • Background in industrial automation, electrical, networking, or plant solutions
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel extensively

   Key Responsibilities
  • Provide innovative sales, consulting, and technical support solutions within the industrial automation industry
  • Manage and grow an existing client base while generating new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including engineers and industry professionals
  • Handle tenders and projects from inception to completion
  • Conduct client site visits, assessments and product presentations
  • Maintain and update CRM systems
  • Achieve monthly sales and activity targets
  • Collaborate closely with the sales manager and technical support team
  • Stay up to date with product developments and industry trends

   Advantageous
  • BCom / Electrical Engineering or similar qualification
  • CISCO / CCNA / N+ certification
  • Experience with SAP and CRM systems
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
