External Sales Representative

About the position

Well established company in Alberton seeks an External Sales Representative to join their dynamic team
Minimum Requirements 

• Minimum 4 years of sales experience (preferably in wholesale cleaning equipment, hygiene or chemical or a related industry).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and networking skills (both verbal and written).
• Target-driven and results-oriented, committed to achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining performance.

Duties 

• Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a structured sales schedule.
• Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote our extensive range of cleaning equipment and consumables.
• Expand customer accounts by increasing the variety of products they purchase.
• Set clear, written goals for each customer call and update these in the CRM system (SmartEdge).
• Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and effective client management.
• Always maintain a professional and high-standard company image.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to maximize sales opportunities.
• Calculate and provide special pricing for customers in line with agreed profit margins.
