Our client is looking for an External Sales Representative who has a proven experience in Sales particualry in the LED lighting or related industry.
Job Title: External Sales Representative
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients in the areas of Gauteng, the Free State, and the Northwest provinces.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through both traditional and innovative sales methods within these regions.
- Work with engineers, architects, and other professionals to get company products specified for projects in these territories.
- Manage and report on sales activities and pipelines to the sales manager, focusing on the specified geographic areas.
Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Generating and qualifying leads, scheduling sales appointments, and maintaining fruitful relationships with existing and new clients.
- Regularly schedule and perform product demonstrations, attend ECA meetings, customer/supplier days/evenings, golf/sports days for marketing purposes, and industry-specific trade shows and events to network and develop sales leads.
- Work closely with electricians, contractors, and architects to facilitate project plans and executions.
- Organize regular trips to the Free State and Northwest provinces for breakfast runs, product displays, and customer product training.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in the LED lighting or related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
- Driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans.
