External Sales Representative

Westmead - We are currently seeking a proactive External Sales Representative to join a leading player in the tools and machinery sector. If you thrive on hard sales, enjoy the thrill of prospecting, and have a knack for building strong client relationships, we want to hear from you!
As an External Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of the business, responsible for driving sales growth through proactive and strategic efforts. The right person for this position must be comfortable and experienced with various sales avenues such as cold calling, prospecting, and taking the initiative to drive sales.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively is required.

Responsibilities :

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, canvassing the area, and strategic prospecting.
• Conduct impromptu visits to companies within the area to present the products and services, understand client needs, and close deals.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, becoming a trusted partner for their tools and machinery needs.
• Achieve and exceed set sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
• Work closely with senior management who will support you in driving successful sales.
• Monday-Friday (7:30 - 1630) - Fridays Finish 15H00

Requirements:

• Matric (Non-Negotiable)
• Confidence and ability to prospect, cold call, door-to-door sales within the Westmead area.
• Tertiary education highly advantageous
• Minimum 2 years proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• A valid driving license is non-negotiable.

Remuneration:

• Basic - R12 000 - R15 000
• Lucrative Commission Structure (Achievable R20 000+)
