About the position
A dynamic manufacturer based in Germiston is looking to employ an External Sales Representative / Technical Sales Representative with 5 years’ experience in the Plastic Fabrication
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Higher Education (Advantageous)
- Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle
- MS Office & Sage Pastel
- 5 years’ experience in the Plastic Fabrication / Packaging Industry
- Responsible for generating revenue by actively engaging with clients and promoting a company’s products or services outside of the office
- Identify potential customers through research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
- Qualify leads and convert them into new clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Provide after-sales support and resolve client issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
- Meet with clients at their premises to present and demonstrate products/services
- Tailor presentations to meet client needs and address objections
- Develop territory sales plans and strategies in line with company goals
- Gather insights about market trends, client preferences, and competitor activity
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts
- Work with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and support
