Summary of the role:
Our Client is looking for an experienced External Sales Representative with strong industry knowledge, client relationship skills, and a results driven approach to join their Durban team.
The successful candidate will drive sales of concrete products trusted by contractors, municipalities, developers, and homeowners and build strong relationships with clients across KwaZulu-Natal.
Responsibilities:
- Sales growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets for concrete paving, retaining walls, kerbs
- Client engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, municipalities, developers, and retailers
- Market development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's footprint in Durban and surrounding areas
- Technical support: Provide product knowledge and guidance to clients, ensuring solutions meet project requirements
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in concrete paving, retaining walls, and road kerbs
- Strong knowledge of the construction and civil engineering industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within KwaZulu-Natal
