About the position
The External Sales Representative will be responsible for growing sales revenue through new business development, maintaining and expanding existing customer accounts, and providing customers with a complete value-chain sales experience. This role would suit someone who is comfortable working in the Pretoria market, is fluent in both Afrikaans and English, and can manage the full sales process from customer engagement through to post-sale support. Key Performance Areas Sales Ability Account Management- Ensure that all administrative elements of the sales process are completed accurately- Coordinate post-sale logistics to ensure customer requirements are met.- Follow up on orders, deliveries and customer queries where required. Customer Relationship Management- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.- Identifying potential customers and new business opportunities.- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers.- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable electrical products- Providing customers with professional, solution-focused sales support. Product Knowledge- Advanced knowledge of LV products.- Moderate knowledge of Cable, OHL and LV product categories.- Demonstrated ability to cross-sell products.- The ability to keep up to date with product ranges, supplier offerings and market-related product developments.
