About the position
Purpose of the role:
An Office Automation company in Durban is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and selling office automation and managed service solutions to businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and prospecting
- Identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions
- Present and demonstrate office automation and managed service solutions
- Prepare and present quotations and proposals to clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity in the CRM system
Requirements:
- Previous B2B sales experience (preferably in office automation, telecoms, or IT services)
- Experience selling printers/copiers, IT services, telecoms, or office automation
- Existing business network in Durban and surrounding areas
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Strong prospecting and closing skills
- Ability to generate own leads
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and target driven
