About the position

Bookings

• Ensure all bookings are manifested and the booking mismatch report is clear prior to the DTX being transmitted.
• Checks must be done for these booking prior to handing over for manifesting

Draft Bills

• Once the bills are manifested drafts will have to be sent to the clients, if there are any amendment the amended copy must be handed over to the data capture clerk and once updated an amended draft must be sent to the client.

Data Integrity

• If any discrepancies are picked up, ensure an e-mail is sent to the respective Department and is followed up.
• Essentially the freight clerk must check booking mismatches and ensure bookings are manifested.
• Mismatches checked multiple times to ensure that no bookings have been missed.

Ad Hoc

General departmental duties as and when it arises.

Qualifications and Experience:
Matric
1-2 years of Shipping Experience
