About the position
We are seeking an Executive Support and Communication Specialist to provide high-level support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) through proactive executive assistance, effective stakeholder coordination, and strategic communication. This role is responsible for managing the CEO’s time, priorities, information flow, and communications, while ensuring consistent and professional messaging across internal and external platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, travel arrangements, and daily priorities.
- Act as a trusted gatekeeper, managing access to the CEO and ensuring effective prioritisation of requests and commitments.
- Coordinate and prepare executive meetings, presentations, briefing packs, and correspondence.
- Draft, edit, and distribute executive communications, speeches, presentations, and stakeholder messaging.
- Support internal communication initiatives that promote alignment, engagement, and organisational culture.
- Manage and maintain executive digital presence, including professional social media platforms.
- Coordinate CEO participation in events, conferences, media engagements, and stakeholder meetings.
- Conduct research and prepare content to support executive decision-making and public engagements.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure professional handling of sensitive information.
Requirements - 3–7 years of experience in Executive Support, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams.
- Proven experience in content creation, digital communications, and social media management.
- Experience coordinating events, executive engagements, or public relations activities.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge and Skills
- Executive support and office management best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Speechwriting, briefing preparation, and executive correspondence.
- Internal and external communication strategies.
- Social media and digital communication platforms, including LinkedIn.
- Research, content development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
