About the position

Exciting Opportunity: Executive: Properties
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Durban
Line Management: Reports to the CEO.

Our client, a leading regional development finance institution headquartered in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a highly strategic Executive: Properties to oversee its diverse property portfolio, drive asset value, and lead end-to-end property management, asset management and property development functions.

What You'll Lead:

  • Property management, leasing, collections & tenant administration
  • Portfolio optimisation, asset lifecycle management and vacancy reduction
  • Facilities, engineering & technical services
  • Property development & project management
  • Policy, process & governance frameworks
  • Strategic partnerships and stakeholder relations
  • Divisional planning, budgeting, forecasting & reporting

What You Must Bring:

  • Postgraduate Master's degree in Property Development, Business, Finance or related field
  • 10+ years' property management experience (8+ years at senior/ executive level)
  • Strong understanding of PFMA, corporate governance & property legislation
  • Proven leadership of large portfolios, teams, and multi-disciplinary environments
