About the position

A permanent vacancy has become available at one of our clients in Somerset West for an Executive Financial Manager.

As the Executive Financial Manager, you will be responsible for accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, enhancement of profitability, and providing business advice at all levels of the company.  You will be accountable for supporting the finance department's objective of sound financial internal controls with a priority on compliance with all internal policies and procedures.
Requirements

• Honours or Postgraduate Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  
• CA (SA) accredited and articles at reputable audit firms.
  
• Member of SAICA.
  
• At least 7 years of post-article financial experience with 4 years in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Fully computer literate (word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4 Hana).
  
• Working knowledge of IFRS accounting guidelines and evidence of technical competencies in recent IFRS standards.
  
• Ability to apply skills across a broad spectrum of financial disciplines (costing, accounting, asset management, etc.).
  
• Ability to work independently and under pressure as well as multi-tasking.
  
• Sound knowledge of Financial and Controlling principles.
  
• Sound communication skills as well as Interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict management skills.
  
• Analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good team management skills.
