About the position

Purpose of Role

Provide strategic leadership in education, training, and membership services. Ensure
SAIPA's competency frameworks, policies, and professional development initiatives
align with global standards (IFAC, SAQA, QCTO). Strengthen member services, uphold
ethical standards, and drive innovation in professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, systems, and policies for education, training, and membership.
• Oversee competency frameworks, CPD/IPD, curricula, and quality assurance.
• Drive alignment between SAIPA Strategic implementation and ETM operationalisation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships locally and internationally.
• Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the ETM team.
• Design a Business Operations Framework and Models: Oversee the delivery
  and enhancement of member services including industry insights, technological
  resources, and professional development programs
• Manage and build stakeholder relationships: Build and maintain strategic
  partnerships with local and international Professional Accounting Organizations
  (PAOs)
• Requirements
• Master's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional Qualification and recognised professional body membership.
• 15+ years in the accounting profession; at least 8-10 years in senior leadership
  across education, training, or membership.
• Proven experience in strategy, regulatory compliance, and professional development
  frameworks.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and innovation skills.
