About the position

DBN000181 - Executive Director - (Financial Services) - Durban North

Purpose of the job:
To lead day-to-day operations, overseeing client relationships, team performance, and all technical and regulatory responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • CA (SA) qualification – essential
  • Registered Auditor (IRBA)
  • 10+ years post-articles experience in an auditing or accounting role
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role

Required Experience & Knowledge:

  • Lead the firm’s overall performance, delivery, and team execution of board strategy.
  • Manage all client relationships to drive satisfaction and growth.
  • Identify and secure new business and acquisition opportunities.
  • Ensure top professional, ethical, and technical quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor and manage staff across all divisions with HR oversight.
  • Build and sustain a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
