Executive Commercial Legal

About the position

• The core purpose of a Executive: Commercial Legal is to oversee all Commercial legal affairs, ensuring the necessary legal risk management practices are implemented to comply with laws and regulations, while minimizing risks and protecting the company's
  interests
• To develop and ensure implementation of the commercial legal strategy in alignment with Our Client's SA strategy and Group Legal strategies and play a leading consultative role across SA operations in proactively mitigating risk
• Oversee legal aspects of contracts with suppliers, customers and partners
• Managing any legal disputes the company may face
• Providing legal support for any mergers, acquisitions or other corporate restructuring
  activities
• Offering legal guidance to executives on strategic decisions, especially those that involve regulatory implications, labour law or long-term legal exposure.
