The Events Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering all events within the Waterfall City precinct and the broader portfolio. This includes large-scale public, paid-for events, client activations as well as internal corporate functions. The role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong project management skills, the ability to judge multiple deadlines, and a deep understanding of current event trends. In addition, this individual will manage sponsorship activations and provide support for support for various initiatives under the organization as well as Skyrisers.
Degree in Events Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, or related fields - NQF Level 7
5 + years' experience in planning, managing and executing both public and internal events
Experience working with sponsorships and / or community initiatives is essential
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and supplier management.
