ETP Supervisor

About the position

Summary:
The ETP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and vetting day-to-day operations at the Effluent Treatment Plant, relating to chemical usage, material balancing and overall process monitoring. Water chemistry understanding or experience would be advantageous.

Reporting to the Refinery Manager.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• SAMTRAC preferable
• Manufacturing sector experience will be an advantage
• Above average written/oral communications skill
• Attention for detail
• Report Writing skills
• Accuracy of work
• Material Balance Tracking and Accuracy

Position responsibilities:

• Monitor daily activities performed at the effluent treatment plant
• Report any deviations/ discrepancies related to daily operation
• Monitor and update material balance for the plant on the daily basis
• Track daily chemical consumption in plant
• Verify all chemical deliveries to the plant, ensuring an accurate inventory is recorded
• Cross-check vendor invoices against actual chemical usage and delivery records
• Provide regular updates on chemical usage, inventory status, and vendor performance
• Collaborate with technical staff to understand process requirements and operations
