You're an Electrical Engineer with strong leadership in estimation, capable of overseeing the entire tendering process while ensuring top-quality designs. You're organised, detail-oriented, and thrive under pressure. You take pride in your ability to balance technical accuracy, cost control, and meeting submission deadlines. You'll drive the estimation and design process, ensuring that tenders are prepared accurately and submitted on time. Your role will involve developing precise electrical designs, creating calculation notes, and producing detailed BOQs. You'll collaborate closely with procurement teams to source materials, evaluate supplier options, and ensure compliance with South African and international standards. Quality control, risk assessment, and seamless coordination with different departments will be key aspects of your role, allowing you to orchestrate the entire bid submission process.
Our client is a renowned international engineering and contracting company with operations across Africa and the Middle East. Specialising in electro-mechanical solutions, infrastructure, and utilities, they have built a reputation for high-quality execution, innovation, and precision. You'll be joining a team that values technical expertise, collaboration, and strong leadership in project estimation and delivery.
You'll need a B.Eng (Electrical) degree and be a registered Pr. Eng (ECSA) professional. With 5+ years' experience, you're well-versed in engineering standards, expertise in cost estimation, BOQs, and tender management. Leadership and project coordination skills to oversee estimation & bid processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within strict project timelines are essential. Your ability to communicate effectively and work in a team will be key to your success.
