About the position
Oversee and manage the daily operations of a private elder-care establishment to ensure the smooth running of the estate and comfortable living environment for residents while overseeing maintenance, staff, and service providers.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant diploma/degree in property management, hospitality, or facilities management will be an advantage
- Minimum 3-5 years in estate/facilities management, preferably within a residential or retirement community setting
- Must be proficiency in both English and Afrikaans
- Must have a valid driver's license and own transport
Key Performance Areas:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance, including buildings, gardens, security, and infrastructure
- Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors
- Monitor operational budgets, manage estate expenses, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Manage estate staff, including housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and ensuring a high standard of service
- Identify areas for upgrades or improvements to enhance the estate's functionality and residents' quality of life
