ESG Analyst

About the position

A boutique investment management firm is seeking an ESG Analyst to support the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the investment process. The successful candidate will conduct ESG research and analysis, support stewardship activities including proxy voting and company engagements, monitor sustainability risks and opportunities, and assist with ESG reporting and responsible investment disclosures. This role offers broad exposure to the asset management industry within a collaborative, high-performance investment team.

Experience Requirements:

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Science, or a related field (CFA Sustainable Investing Certificate advantageous)
• Experience or strong exposure to ESG research, responsible investing, or sustainability analysis within an investment or financial services environment
• Understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards, including PRI and TCFD
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365; experience with Bloomberg and ESG research tools is advantageous
