ERP Business Analyst
Duration: 12 months
Location: Centurion, Gauteng
The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support an ERP assessment and transformation programme. The role will focus on understanding current business processes, defining future requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis and supporting the business case and roadmap for a potential ERP implementation.
You will work closely with the ERP Project Manager, business stakeholders, IT teams and subject-matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate business and requirements workshops.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Gather, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct ERP fit-gap assessments and identify areas requiring process change, configuration, integration or further investigation.
- Work with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and IT.
- Identify data, reporting, integration and master-data requirements.
- Maintain requirements traceability and ensure requirements are properly validated and approved.
- Identify process impacts, risks, dependencies and business requirements.
- Support the ERP business case, solution assessment and implementation roadmap.
- Prepare clear documentation, presentations and reports for project and senior management.
Requirements:
- Solid experience as a Business Analyst within an ERP or enterprise transformation environment.
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation experience.
- Proven business process mapping and analysis capability.
- Experience with ERP fit-gap assessments.
- Strong stakeholder and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience working across multiple business functions.
- JD Edwards / JDE experience would be highly advantageous.
- Manufacturing, supply chain or logistics experience would be beneficial.
- Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, BCS or equivalent would be advantageous.
