Position Overview
 
We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Entry Clerk to join our busy freight forwarding team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, capturing, and processing documentation to ensure the smooth, compliant movement of import and export shipments.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Capture and submit accurate customs entries (imports/exports) using customs clearance software.
• Verify incoming commercial invoices, bills, and packing lists to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, shipping lines, and internal teams to resolve holds, queries, or inspections promptly.
• Maintain neat, up-to-date physical and digital files for auditing and compliance tracking.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 1–3 years of experience as an Entry Clerk within a freight forwarding environment
• A qualification in Freight Forwarding/Logistics is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with customs clearance systems
