Enterprise Risk Management Intern at Mintek

About the position

Introduction
Mintek is offering an exciting internship within the Enterprise Risk Management. The successful candidate will assist in the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of organisational risks while contributing to the enhancement of Mintek's risk management framework.
Duties & Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Timely and accurate completion of risk assessments and data analysis.
• Quality and accuracy of risk reports submitted to management and governance structures.
• Effective monitoring and tracking risk mitigation actions.
• Maintanace of accurate and up-to-date risk documentation.
• Contribution to the enhancement of the ERM framework and processes.
• Compliance with all ERM reporting timelines and governance requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in conducting risk assessments to identify potential risks with Mintek.
• Analysing data to evaluate the likelihood and impact of risks.
• Assisting in the development of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Monitoring the implementation of risk mitigation measures.
• Analysing data related to risks and preparing reports for management.
• Conducting research on industry best practices in risk management.
• Benchmarking of the Organisation's risk management processes against industry standards.
• Supporting internal audits related to risk management.
• Assisting in the development and delivery of training programs on risk management.
• Promoting risk awareness and a culture of risk mamagement within the organisation.
• Supporting various risk management projects and initiatives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address risk-related challenges.
• Maintaining accurare records of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and other relevant documentation.
• Ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements in risk management practices.
• Contributing to the enhancement of the organisation's risk management framework.

SALARY PACKAGE: R 173 597.00 CTC per annum non-negotiable

This opportunity is open to South African citizens only. Successful candidates must arrange their own accommodation clos to Mintek, and they must make their own travel arrangements to get to Mintek. Candidates must be willing to go under psychometric testing.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor in Risk Management or equivalent (NQF level 7)
• Excellent academic record 60% average.
• Proficienct in Microsoft Office (Ecel, Word and Powerpoint).
