About the position

Kwena Human Capital, a leading recruitment company, seeks an experience Recruitment Specialist to join our growing team based in Sunningdale, Table View. This will be a fixed-term contract position.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building strong relationships with both clients and candidates, managing the full recruitment lifecycle across the Engineering Division and delivering high-quality talent solutions to clients. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and can manage a diverse portfolio of vacancies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric/ Grade 12
  • Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years' recruitment experience in an agency recruitment environment with focus on Engineering positions
  • Experienced in placing contractor resources
  • Experienced in managing client accounts - advantageous
  • Experienced with recruitment platforms such as PNET, CareerJunction, Linkedin and social media platforms
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes and competing priorities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
End-to-end resourcing and delivery of candidates for contractor and permanent roles, including:

  • Drafting job specifications
  • Sourcing candidates using a variety of tools
  • Qualifying candidates for suitability
  • Managing candidate interviews/ assessments/ psychometric test with clients
  • Managing employment integrity checks
  • Closing candidates on the job offer
  • Onboarding candidates
  • Timesheet management - where contractor placements
  • Support New Business Development initiatives
  • Managing client accounts
  • Recruitment activity reporting
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and process improvement initiatives
