About the position
Southern Wind Ship Yard is looking to appoint a qualified Engineer to to join our Drawing Office team tasked with the design and production of drawings for all systems related aspects on our [URL Removed] work ranges from systems schematics, engine room design, drive train arrangement, electric systems installation to pipe run optimization. The successfull candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the marine industry / small craft / naval boat building.
Desired Skills:
- 2D production drawings
- 3D drawings of engine room and pipe runs using SolidWorks
- SolidWorks (or similar)
- Practical sailing experience
- Autodesk ACAD
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to deadline
- Ability to work overtime if required

- 5 to 10 years

- Degree
