Engineer - RFI at NRF National Research Foundation

About the position

Postion Summary:
This position is responsible for developing RFI monitoring equipment, software, policies, and procedures. The position also involves leading RFI campaigns and doing RFI/EMC measurements and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop RFI monitoring systems using systems engineering principlesAnalyse data to ensure efficient and effective operation of monitoring systemsCollect RFI measurement, monitoring and telescope data in the appropriate database Use known techniques and RFI standards to analyse measurement dataReviewing of project documentation, which has an impact on RFI
• This includes subcontractor EMC control plans, requests for special permits and deviations
• Writing memos on findings following investigations
• Develop processes and procedures to improve RFI management
• Plan and lead logistics of RFI measurement campaignsCollect and analyse measurement dataCompile applicable technical reports, which are reviewed by relevant stakeholdersConduct RFI measurements as and when requiredSupport graduates

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree / Advanced Diploma / NQF 7

Minimum Experience:

• 2-4 years

Knowledge:
