About the position
Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of South African Engineer HVACs to work in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Please note that visa and sponsorship assistance provided. The successful candidates will be responsible for the design of standard HVAC systems as per client-specific solutions. The ideal candidate will be working on an office building, or a healthcare facility, or a light industrial site—no project is the same. Our client provides consulting services focus on the knowledge areas of structural engineering, building services engineering, building physics, fire safety, architecture, geotechnics, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Handling inquiries from regular clients using advanced technologies.
- Advise the client on installations and contribute to the decision-making process.
- Collaborating with engineers and modelers within the HVAC discipline.
- Collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines and execution teams.
- Ensure a solid design and smooth realization.
- Coordinating with external parties such as architects and consultants.
- In multidisciplinary project teams, everyone is responsible for their own part of the design, so your communication skills are essential.
Requirements:
- Matric / N4
- Relevant Trade Test
- N1 – N6 highly advantageous
- South African Drivers’ License
- Fluent in the Afrikaans language essential and mandatory
- Completed 3 year apprenticeship
- A completed bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience as an HVAC engineer in building-related installations
- Knowledge of relevant ISO and NEN standards and preferably experience with software like VABI, Revit and StabiCAD
