About the position
Join a leading international engineering consultancy's Energy consulting team in Cape Town and support their further growth and development with particular focus on electrical engineering, as well as business development support and project management support of PV, wind, battery storage, green hydrogen and mini-micro-grid projects.
Requirements, Duties and Responsibilities:
- BEng. or BSc in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy
- Approximately 4 - 6
- Financial acumen with respect to energy projects and project finance will be a bonus along with project management support to the lead Project Manager for the delivery of lender's technical advisory, owner's engineering and design services within the renewable energy sector across the project lifecycle.
- Design experience in renewable energy projects will be an advantage
- Writing technical reports and presentations, compiling design and drawings and presentations
- Preparation of Bids and proposals
- Support the Senior Engineer with winning work
