About the position
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in computing, information security or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrable experience as a cybersecurity generalist supporting engineering or platform teams (practical, non-niche focus).
- Practical exposure to Secure SDLC, DevSecOps practices, risk and compliance workflows, and remediation lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with a track record of operating in delivery-focused environments.
- Relevant certifications desirable (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent), but practical experience is paramount.
- Available to work on-site or hybrid in Johannesburg for a 6–12 month contract; subcontractors must provide profiles and margin details.
