About the position

Are you the person people call when a machine stops behaving and nobody else can quite figure out why?

We’re looking for an experienced Electronics & Instrumentation Technician to join a well established manufacturing operation where reliability, precision and technical excellence matter.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and keeping sophisticated production equipment operating at its best. You’ll work across electronic, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, supporting production while continuously looking for smarter ways to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Please send CVs to [Email Address Removed] or apply here directly.
What you’ll be responsible for

- Maintaining, repairing and optimising electronic and instrumentation equipment across the production environment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective corrective and preventative maintenance
- Supporting production teams with technical breakdowns and equipment related issues
- Ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably and according to required quality standards
- Performing planned maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and recurring failures
- Troubleshooting electronic, electrical, instrumentation and control related problems
- Identifying root causes of equipment failures and implementing sustainable corrective actions
- Supporting equipment modifications, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with the installation, commissioning and testing of new or modified equipment
- Ensuring instrumentation and electronic systems are correctly calibrated and maintained
- Maintaining accurate technical, maintenance and equipment records
- Working closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment availability and performance
- Supporting initiatives aimed at improving sustainability, quality, delivery and cost performance
- Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and optimise the use of equipment and resources
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and compliance within the technical environment
- Taking accountability for assigned technical activities and ensuring work is completed accurately and within required timeframes
- Sharing technical knowledge and supporting the development of colleagues where required

What we’re looking for
You’ll need a relevant technical qualification in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, together with practical experience working with electronic and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who bring strong fault finding and analytical ability, sound technical judgement and the confidence to work independently when the pressure is on.
You should be someone who is naturally curious about how equipment works, methodical when diagnosing problems and unwilling to settle for a temporary fix when there is a better long term solution.

The kind of person who will thrive here
You’re technically sharp, practical and calm under pressure. You take ownership, communicate well with the people around you and understand that good maintenance isn’t simply about fixing what breaks. It’s about preventing the next breakdown.
If electronics, instrumentation and solving complex equipment problems are where you do your best work, we’d like to hear from you.
Apply today and tell us what you can bring to the team.
