Electronic Repair Specialist

Area: Honeydew, Roodepoort

Package: Basic Salary: R26000 (depending on experience), Medical Aid, Provident Fund,13th Cheque and Performance Bonus

Overview: The Repairs Specialist is accountable for the end-to-end technical restoration and performance assurance of company products and equipment. This role conducts detailed fault diagnostics, executes precise repairs, and performs functional testing to ensure all units meet engineering, safety, and quality standards. It maintains accurate service documentation, supports continuous product improvement through technical feedback, and delivers high-quality customer support by resolving issues efficiently and professionally. The specialist works closely with technical teams, service coordinators, and clients to uphold product reliability and strengthen customer confidence.

Duties:

• Inspect, diagnose and repair faulty products or components transferred to Workshop Repairs
• Provide guidance to Workshop staff to identify technical issues
• Conduct functional testing after repairs completed to ensure proper operation
• Assist with training of Workshop staff
• Final inspection conducted and tested off on each component or product repaired before releasing the product to go into the field
• Monitor availability of spare parts and repair tools and request parts and materials when required
• Completion of checklists, test sheets, correct labelling per requirements and ensuring all items are cleaned and packaged correctly with all required components
• Prepare Technical reports and repair documentations including service records and histories repairs

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate
• Certification in Basic Electronics
• Microsoft Packages Experience (Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Minimum 5 Years Relevant Experience
• Experience working in Repairs environment
• Experience with applying quality control standards
