About the position
Main Responsibilities
- Electronic design (conception, design, simulation, specify bill of materials, assembly, coding, integration, documentation) of assemblies or systems for use in products for Smart Energy Management portfolio
- Power electronics
- CAD design (Altium or alike)
- Embedded design in C (hardware + firmware)
- IOT systems integration
- Wireless technologies
- MQTT
- Experience in communication protocols (IP- Internet Protocol, LIN, CAN, MODBUS, etc)
- Liaise with internal and external role players (e.g. Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Software Development, Project Management, Certification, Tool Design, Procurement, Suppliers, Sales, Export and Customers) to support innovation, design and manufacturing.
- Provide support to all the relevant stakeholders.
- Will be required to occasionally travel to customers, suppliers or SEM's other site
- Minimum Requirements
- BSc (Eng) / BEng degree in Computer/Electronics/Electrical
- Experience in IOT systems and solutions
- Experience in embedded firmware development
- Knowledge of networking, system integration and network security
- Experience in mixed signal & circuit layout design
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical energy systems
Advantageous: - Relevant Master's Degree
- IOT Application development using ESP IDF
- Experience in embedded hardware development
- Experience working with front-end and back-end systems
- Experience working with databases o Proficient knowledge of sensors
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI and data analytics o Other coding experience (Python, JavaScript etc)
- Linux OS
- Collaborative development using GIT

- 1 to 2 years Optical, Electronic & Computer Manufacturing
