About the position
Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of South African Electricians to work in Joure, Netherlands. Please note that visa and sponsorship assistance provided. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, assembly and maintenance of advanced automation systems. They will work accurately and with modern techniques, together with a driven team that supports you in your personal development.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the electrical construction and connection of machines/installations, building panels, cabling, connecting and testing in the workshop and at the customer's premises.
- During assembly and construction
- Assembly and commissioning you will be working at the customer's location (both domestically and abroad).
- Building electrical and pneumatic cabinets
- Wiring and connecting machines/installations
- Adjusting and commissioning machines/installations
- Electrical work
- Testing of electrical/pneumatic systems (I/O testing)
- Troubleshooting and performing repairs during malfunctions
- Measuring (electrical)
- Mechanical work such as punching, grinding, cutting, drilling and tapping
- Inform work preparation regarding replenishment/ordering of items from stock
- Manufacturing and repairing parts
- Adjusting machines/installations in operation or on location
- Supervising the commissioning of installations if necessary
Requirements:
- Millwright Trade Test or Electrical Trade Test
- Matric / NQF 4
- South African Drivers’ License
- Knowledge of drives and controls, mechanics
- Knowledge of controls or willingness to master them
- Insight into the operation of machines and processes
- Technical insight, both electrical and mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of electrical diagrams, pneumatics, sensor technology, switching technology, electrical engineering (weak and high current)
- Oral proficiency in English, German is a plus
- VCA certificate or willing to obtain it
- Willingness to work at home and abroad

- €42k - €54k per annum, monthly rand conversion (R86k – R73k)
