About the position
ELECTRICIAN – FEEDLOT
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a qualified Electrician with a Trade Certificate as an Electrician and 5 years’ relevant artisan experience to perform electrical repairs, installations, maintenance and fault-finding across the feedlot.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable legislation, safety requirements and industry standards. Experience with Centre Pivots and a Wireman’s Licence.
The candidate must also be physically fit and willing to work standby and overtime when required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Trade Certificate as an Electrician
- 5 years’ relevant experience as a qualified Artisan
- Willingness to work standby, overtime and after-hours call-outs.
- Physically fit and able to work in awkward positions, confined/cluttered workspaces and noisy environments
- Experience with Centre Pivot irrigation systems
- Wireman’s Licence
