About the position
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- New electrical installation (wiring, testing, and commissioning of equipment).
- Maintenance of site and factory electrical reticulation.
- Fault finding and repair of electrical breakdowns with emphasis on CNC machine.
- Pre - planned preventative maintenance of electrical equipment and machines.
- Preform trade related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Audit factory and draw up a task list to complete findings.
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of electrical theory; concepts and trade practice
- Skills and knowledge related to working safely in the electrical environment.
- Knowledge and application of relevant legislation; code of practice and standards.
- Knowledge of PLC systems, Programming and Installation, Fault finding.
- Knowledge of the Labour act, OHSA and or any other regulatory acts which may affect the company.

Are you a qualified Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship? We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious professional to join the team in one of our Client's Sites which will be based in Maitland. The succesfull candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A Wireman's license would be advantageous.
- Grade 12 is essential
- Qualified Electrician.
- Previous experience on Machine tool (CNC, milling, lathe and grinding machines etc.)
- Pneumatic Systems.
- PLC Programming and installation.
- VSD Setting and installation
- Fault finding and repairs on programmable automated equipment.
