You are a qualified Electrician with at least 2 yeas working experience. You're a practical problem-solver with strong fault-finding skills and a solid background in electrical installations. You'll be working on a variety of electrical installation projects across domestic, commercial and industrial sites, handling everything from wiring and fault finding to repairs and replacements. Daily tasks will include interpreting drawings, planning and executing installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all work aligns with safety and compliance standards. You'll also manage documentation, adhere to quality control protocols, and ensure that safety regulations are strictly followed. Communication with site managers and contributing to team support are key elements of your role.
You'll be part of a leading electrical engineering business based in Epping, Cape Town. Known for delivering complex projects in the construction and technical sector, this organisation fosters a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence. To succeed, you'll need an Electrician Trade Test Certificate (3 phase), a valid driver's licence, and at least 2 years of post-trade experience in the electrical construction industry. A Matric or N3 in Electrical Engineering is essential. You must have sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, SABS 10142 compliance, electrical installation methodologies, and both LV and MV systems. Strong communication, planning, and multitasking abilities will be crucial, along with a can-do attitude.
